For our last class before spring break, we took some time to look at the Resurrection from a different perspective.
There are a lot of ideas out there about how to explain the events surrounding the resurrection. We took some of the least controversial facts regarding the resurrection; facts that are acknowledged by believers and skeptics alike. We then looked at a number of the explanations that have been offered and investigated them as detectives; we analyzed the explanations against the facts to see if they hold up to scrutiny.
Here is a copy of the worksheet we used. For notes, we used information from Alive: A Cold-Case Approach to the Resurrection, which is a tract format of information in J. Warner Wallace’s book Cold-Case Christianity. I would highly recommend getting a copy (of the book) which covers a lot of great information about our faith.
